Among one of the best events in NYC, is the largest and most famous tribute to the legendary singer Stevie Nicks, called Night of A Thousand Stevie's, produced annually by The Jackie Factory at the Knitting Factory.  The theme this year --it's 15th  -- was "GOLD DUST WOMEN." Ticket sales at the door sold out in only 30 minutes, showing once again the strength and popularity of this event.  "Star" Stevies this year included; Debbie Harry, Dean Johnson, Boy George, Sherry Vine and more. But the event is really highlighted by the people that show up from all over the world to celebrate the magic and mystic that is Stevie Nicks. Among those brilliant performances, the brightest highlight of the event was the duet lip synch of "Leather and Lace" by SISTER CODIE RAVIOLI & her son. Everyone was really touched by that performance of a tranny mom & her son, I thought. But along with a night of great performances, what I love best about this event, is that everyone, is dressed for the occasion, and this year did not disappoint.
