TransWeek — the Provincetown gathering formerly known as Fantasia Fair — marks its 50th year in 2026, making it one of the longest-running transgender events in the world.
TransWeek is a weeklong “full immersion” of workshops, social events, performances, and community, built around the 2026 theme “Set Sail to New Horizons.” The event blends learning, social gathering, and reunion in one of the country’s most welcoming towns.
The week is designed for transgender and gender-diverse people and their significant others, and it welcomes people of all identities. Founded in 1975 as Fantasia Fair, it is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026.
